Julia Maynard

Local Artist Julia Maynard set up the Ardingly Gallery in October 2006 as a studio & commercial outlet for her work. Julia has acheived international fame with successful ongoing exhibition at several galleries in Cyprus. Julia's work reflects her love of nature and the surrounding countryside. Her unique work includes acrylic paints on canvas, original handpainted glassware and quirky handcrafted cachepot designs. The Ardingly gallery can be found at Devon House, Street Lane in Ardingly.

The Gallery Goes Oraginic, Original Organic Paintings

You'll never look at a carrot the same way again once you've seen Julia Maynard's new 'Organic' collection. Carrots, cabbages, garlic and many other seasonal vegetables have been elevated to model status by Julia her latest series of painting on canvas view the 'Organic' collection at the Gallery in Ardingly and its next-door neighbour 'The Deli'

Julia's work is on permanent exhibition at the Artyfect Gallery in Ardingly, with further examples of her work in the Artyfect Shop Lindfield, she also welcomes commissions.

My Boudoir Paintings as I name them are a series of highly decorative paintings that I am developing and creating at the moment, I like to uses a mixture of textures, patterns and colour on the background with a realistic painting on top, the picture evolves into a visual feast for the eyes – enjoy more to come soon.
